For more than 25 years, angenvoort has specialised exclusively in creating family destinations and experiences for international hospitality, working with leading hospitality brands across different continents.

We transform kids’ clubs, teen spaces and family facilities into distinctive guest experiences and strategic hospitality assets. Our concepts are informed by current family travel research and relevant scientific studies, helping us respond to evolving guest expectations and the changing ways families travel.

Our approach goes beyond conventional design. We combine hospitality strategy, themed entertainment, storytelling, child development, operations and safety to create tailor-made experiences for children, teenagers and multigenerational families.

Our expertise is shaped by four years with Warner Bros. and the development of theming elements for Bistrot Chez Rémy, part of Ratatouille at Disneyland Paris. As a certified playground inspector, Christian Angenvoort also brings specialist safety expertise directly into the design process.

From concept and design development through procurement support, art direction and on-site project management, we work alongside the client’s lead architect and construction team to bring each experience to life.

For our Dorint Hotels & Resorts we awarded in 2014 to angenvoort lda. the contract to optimize the childrens’ facilities in our 8 family resorts. From the analysis of the existing facilities, creating a coherent concept design and umbrella brand, marketing, merchandising and gastronomic ideas, risk assessment and Project Management.
